Laura and I finally got together today. I haven't seen her since the whole Derek experience, and since camp was a month ago it was time I assaulted her with showed her my pictures. And, since my mom had plans with her own friends (and still isn't home yet...hmm...), that meant she would be gone and I could sneak Laura in to see the pics. (Mom's ( Read more... )

This was a day I'd looked forward to for a few weeks now. Laura has wanted to go to Flattop Grill for a while now, but the one she knows of is near Northwestern, where she went to school. This was the first Thursday we were able to go. I met her at her house around 11, and after running a few errands with her we were on the way.
